Because adoptions fees do not cover all of our expenses, we rely on generous contributions of individuals, organizations and businesses.



 

To become a Member, click on the following link, print out and complete the form. Mail the form with your check made payable to Polk County Humane Society to the address on the form.

Membership Application

As a Member of the Polk County Humane Society, you will:

  • ensure a clean, well attended shelter for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at our shelter
  • provide ongoing attention to healthcare for our dogs, cats, puppies and kittens
  • receive quarterly issues of our newsletter which keeps you current on our events and activities and includes adoption stories and areas of interest
  • be able to deduct membership fee as a tax deduction or write-off
  • be confident that all proceeds go directly to Polk County Humane Society
